Spiritual Development at St Antony's Priory
An important area of work for the Priory, going back many years, has involved the training and provision of spiritual directors. More recently, we have started to develop a parrallel offer of pastoral supervision, and in addition we are also developing a new programme of courses and activities in the area of Christian spirituality.
Spiritual Accompaniment
We can help you find a Spiritual Director, and we provide rooms in which people can meet for Spiritual Direction, often also known as ‘Spiritual Accompaniment’.
Spiritual Direction Course
St Antony’s Priory has a well-established role as a provider of training and support for Spiritual Directors, including supervision groups and ongoign formation.
Pastoral Supervision
Building on our existing work in spiritual accompaniment we are now also developing the offer of pastoral supervision, specifically for clergy in the Diocese of Durham.
Christian Spirituality
As part of our wider offer, we will develop and deliver a programme of courses and workshops in Christian spirituality, that will be rooted in tradition and grounded in practice.
